Acceptance and eligibility

By using Whereabouts Psychology, you agree to these Terms. The app is intended only for people age 18 or older. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Informational purpose

Whereabouts provides self-report questionnaires, scores, ranges, educational explanations, local comparisons, and report tools for personal reflection. It is not a diagnostic service, therapy, medical or psychological treatment, emergency monitoring, or a substitute for evaluation by a qualified professional.

Using the app does not create a clinician-patient, therapist-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. Do not use it to make urgent safety, medical, employment, insurance, legal, or other high-stakes decisions.

Emergencies

Whereabouts does not monitor responses or contact emergency services. If you may harm yourself or someone else, or face an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource now.

Self-report limitations

Results depend on how you understand and answer questions, your current circumstances, the limits of each instrument, and the scoring information available to the app. A score may not accurately describe an individual and no outcome or interpretation is guaranteed.

You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use a result and for seeking professional advice when appropriate.

Appropriate use

Use the app lawfully and respectfully. Do not use results to diagnose another person, impersonate someone, harass or discriminate, make deceptive claims, interfere with the app, bypass safeguards, distribute malicious material, or violate assessment, software, or third-party rights.

Your data, exports, and shares

You control the information you enter and the results, packages, reports, and messages you choose to export or share. You are responsible for having permission to use or share information about another person and for selecting appropriate recipients.

Once information is copied, exported, emailed, shared, or provided to another service, it may be retained or redistributed outside Whereabouts. The app cannot control or delete those external copies.

Compare with someone

Compare provides a descriptive comparison of selected self-assessment results. It is not a validated measure of compatibility, relationship quality, safety, or future success. Do not use it to classify, pressure, screen, or make consequential decisions about another person.

Naama and other external services

Ask Naama is a link to an external website, not an embedded chat or API connection. Use of Naama or any other external service is governed by that service’s own terms and policies.

Content and assessment sources

The app interface, organization, explanatory writing, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules. Assessment items, names, citations, scoring approaches, and source materials may have different owners, licenses, public-domain status, or attribution requirements. Source and rights information shown for an assessment remains associated with that material.

These Terms do not grant permission to republish assessment content or third-party materials beyond rights available from their respective sources.

Availability and changes

The app may be changed, corrected, interrupted, or discontinued. Features, external links, and device services may be unavailable. No uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, or compatibility with every device is promised.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and its content are provided as available for informational use, without guarantees of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or a particular outcome. You remain responsible for your decisions, device security, backups, and external sharing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Support and updates to these Terms

For support or questions about these Terms, contact support@whereaboutspsychology.com. Updated Terms will show a revised version and effective date in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
